Eric Salat
Eric Salat is an award-winning writer, director, and producer. He spent his early career at ABC News in New York as a producer on various limited documentary series covering politics, crime, and business. His biographies include a two-hour special on Einstein’s life during WW1 and hour specials on Larry Ellison, Henry Kravis, and Mark Zuckerberg. After moving to Los Angeles, Eric worked as a producer and show runner for the Discovery Channel, History Channel, Bloomberg, the NFL Network, A&E, the BBC, among others. He recently produced and wrote nonfiction podcasts for Audible and Wondery. He is a graduate of Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism.
Erik Olsen
Erik Olsen is a journalist and filmmaker based in Los Angeles, with a distinguished career capturing stories across environmental and ocean sciences. Formerly a senior video journalist for The New York Times in both New York and Berlin, Erik also served as Quartz’s West Coast video correspondent and spent five years as an online and TV producer with ABC News. His work has led him on extensive sea expeditions aboard scientific research vessels, including dives in submersibles 2,000 feet below the surface, documenting marine biology, geology, and ocean technology. Erik’s work has been featured in The New York Times, National Geographic, Scientific American, Great Big Story by CNN, Retro Report, and Hakai Magazine. In 2018 he won the Edward R Murrow National Award for Feature Reporting.
Josh Smith
Josh Smith is a multi-Emmy Award-winning Cinematographer for ESPN’s E:60, the NFL Network, CBS Sports, Fox Sports, and HBO Sports. His credits include “The Last Dance” on Netflix and ESPN, HBO’s 24/7, as well as Kendrick Lamar’s tribute to Kobe Bryant: “Kobe: Fade to Black,” featured on ESPN the night he retired.
Michael Shapiro
Michael Shapiro is a graduate of the Wharton School of Business and the University of Michigan’s Graduate Film Program. After a successful run directing regional and Off-Broadway theater in New York City, he began directing commercials, working with such clients as Nike, AT&T, MCI, Starbucks, Energizer and New Balance.
Michael’s work caught the attention of Jerry Bruckheimer, who hired him to direct episodes of CSI and the Emmy-nominated film MAX-Q.
